Miche Elizabeth is a massage therapist, L.A. transplant and cyclist who has brought her unique sense of style to Salt Lake City.

I always thought that I was going to end up becoming a massage therapist, from the first time I got a massage,” says Elizabeth. “I was 15 and I was just like, ‘this is out of this world.’ And I’ve always just been a touchy person, so I like massaging people, like if I’m sitting there, you know hanging out, whatever.”

“I like black and white—you don’t have to think much about it—but it still looks fresh. You’re comfy. And I’ve never liked dressing like a girl, so … ”

On some of her style icons, Elizabeth says, “Tupac, Mr. Capone-E, like they just all just wear just very basic, white tees, chains. A lot more bling than I do, or can afford, but you know they’re just styled out, just super, L.A.”

“I was born in L.A. and only lived there until I was six, and then I grew up in northern California and Santa Rosa. My mom always tried to dress me like a girl, and my brothers were always dressed very, I don’t know what the word would be, like a little bit more, like nice, I suppose.”

Of the ring on her finger in this photo, Elizabeth says, “It’s a bear claw and throughout my life people have called me little bear, bear or brown bear, so I was actually at Twilight Lounge, you know, like I do, and there’s this like Native American lady that sells silver and I bought it off her.”

“I’ll wear like, nicer button-ups and like slacks and stuff,” says Elizabeth. “Maybe nicer jewelry or something like that. When I feel off is like, probably at work or something. But you know that’s not really my style.”
