I knew this album would be something different once I pressed play. Radius’ youthful sounding voice going off over a variety of different beat styles confirms Radius is just getting started and he is confined to just one style. This self-titled album includes themes as diverse as the music styles featured on it, covering themes of relationships, loss and overcoming doubt. Radius isn’t all serious business though, the tack “Barista” is lighthearted with an Atmosphere’s “Sunshine” vibe to it. Radius may be young but that does not mean his style and skill isn’t matured. Keep your eye on Radius, and check out this album if you want a fresh take on Salt Lake City Hip-Hop. –Connor Brady
