Jamie Christensen

Starting as an Editorial Intern in 2019 and continuing as a Senior Staff Writer and Copy Editor since then, Jamie Christensen came on in November 2022 as Content Coordinator to coordinate stories for the print magazine each month and provide the team with insightful analytics on SLUG content. Now serving as Junior Editor, Christensen brings her funny and thoughtful voice to our social media presence and spreads our content with good cheer, amplifying the most amusing and discerning parts of our contributors’ work. Christensen feels a lot of pride working for SLUG as it provides a productive outlet for her genuine interest in the cultural dynamics of Salt Lake City. She channels this curiosity into her editorial pitches and enjoys the chance to research underground art, music and culture, which has helped expand her own notions of creativity.
